Start your day right with this powerful morning prayer

Do you know that God loves it when you talk to Him? When you take time in the mornings to put Him first.
The best way to start your day is with a morning prayer!
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning, I will direct it to You, And I will look up.
Psalm 5:3
David knew how important it was not only for him but also to God to start his day with a morning prayer. Jesus did the same thing, in Mark 1:35 the bible tells us that Jesus got up very early in the morning while it was still dark to go pray.

Why is morning prayer so important?
A husband and wife were traveling to another state to visit family. After several delays, they were finally on their way to their destination. The roads were covered in snow and with each passing hour fewer and fewer cars were on the road because a blizzard was coming.
Not wanting to stop, they decided to push through and try to get ahead of the blizzard as they continued on their trip. They drove for another couple of hours when suddenly they lost control of the vehicle and ended up in a ditch, in the middle of nowhere. There was no cell phone signal, no cars on the road, not a town close by.
There were stuck in a ditch in the middle of a blizzard.
A few days later they were found safe and sound. The wife had packed extra blankets, water and food just in case. Because she was prepared, she was able to save herself and her husband.
So, what does that story have to do with morning prayer?
When you first open your eyes in the morning you have no idea what the day will bring. Morning prayer prepares you for whatever storm may come your way. It makes your relationship with The Father stronger and it makes your spirit stronger.
What is the best morning prayer?
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:12-13
The best morning prayer is the prayer that comes from your heart. Your prayer should not be a routine, it should not be an obligation. Your prayer should be you wanting to have a conversation with The Father.
Jesus told us not to do vain repetitions when we pray. Why?
He wants a relationship and not religion. He wants you to open your heart to Him and say (pray) what is in your heart.
It’s ok to have a guide for the things that you would like to pray for, but let it be your words and not someone else’s.
