Change your mind and your life with these daily affirmations

Change your mind and your life with these daily affirmations

Through the years our brains have been trained to have negative thoughts and that is what we speak.

For example, if we find out that a friend has cancer, the first thing that pops into our head is death.

When we look in the mirror the first things we see are all the imperfections that we would like to change about our bodies.

When we have financial problems all we talk about is “we don’t have any money” or “we are always broke.”

Deliberating on our negative thoughts and feelings and allowing pessimism to take over our minds is incredibly damaging to the brain. Every thought we have changes the structure of our brains. If we constantly have negative thoughts, we build these thoughts into our brain, which affects our future thoughts, words and behavior.

Dr. Caroline Leaf

Is time to stop, change our minds and change our lives through the words we speak. It’s time to speak words of life, it is time to speak The Word of God over ourselves.

When Jesus and the disciples were in the mist of the storm, Jesus spoke to the wind and the sea. He didn’t say “oh no, look at the great storm, we are going to die.”

We need to be more like Jesus and speak the future, don’t speak your circumstance, speak what you want to see come to pass.

In life, there are always two voices competing for your attention: the voice of faith and the voice of doubt. You cannot talk defeat and expect victory.

Speaking life is so important! I was personally able to get through my second Natural Birth with the power of prayer and affirmations that I had read to me during contractions. Our words have power!

I had a very hard delivery with my first son. When I found out I was pregnant again I was a little scared but I started speaking life over myself, my baby and my delivery. I prayed, spoke my declarations and trusted God and it was a super easy delivery! Yes, your words have power!

Hi Carolina, Nice to talk to you again after the Writer’s Challenge. I posted this on my Affirmations of Faith Pinterest board. #6 is my mother’s saying about having a teachable spirit, I’m glad that was on your list.

I heard that saying many years ago but I’m not sure where. I have been confessing that over my life for years!

That’s quite an extensive list. I’ve never been a person who speaks affirmations, rather I speak scripture when I need comfort. I’ll have to try a couple.

What a great reminder. The key is in repeating the affirmations until they become your default. It’s all practice. I’m so glad God’s thoughts towards us are always positive. We just need to learn to adapt the same positive thoights and words Thanks for sharing..

Even more important than repeating is believing, using our faith. Jesus said be it done unto you as you have believed.
