The Best Children’s Bibles by Age

As parents, we have been given a very important assignment:

To guide our children in their walk with The Lord.

Is not an easy job, I know, but it is doable because God will never give you a job that you cannot accomplish.

There are tons of Bibles out there but to help you, I have put together a list of the best children’s bibles by age.

Teaching our kids The Word of God is one of the most important things we can do for them. The Bible is God’s guidelines for success in all the areas of life.

Reading, studying and learning The Word of God will only bring blessing to your life, your kids life and your home.

Biblical Truth you must teach your kids printable

Bibles for Babies

Yes! It’s never to early to teach The Word of God to your kids. I honestly believe that the earlier you start, the better!

The Hug-a-Bible

This is the cutest Bible for babies. The pictures are super cute and the front is furry, and it doesn’t have a lot of words. It is written in rhyme and it is super soft for babies to cuddle with.

The Hug-a-Bible comes with 10 powerful stories from The Bible and it is a great way to start a family tradition of reading the Bible together!

Tiny Bear’s Bible

It is never too early to learn about God’s promises. The Tiny Bear Bible has 10 stories that dig deep into who God is. The pages are hard so they won’t easily rip and they have a boy bear or a girl bear in the front. Super cute!

Best Bibles for Toddlers

Toddlers a playful and they have a very short attention span. The following Bibles are perfect for getting toddlers attention and introducing them to The Word of God.

His and Hers First Bible

His and Hers Bibles are very kid friendly and they come in baby blue and pink. They are perfect for little hands and easy to understand. Also, it has lots of illustrations.

The Toddler’s Bible

This Bible was made specially for toddlers. It has 101 Bible stories, beautiful pictures and the writing is fun and easy to comprehend. Your children will love The Toddler’s Bible.

A Child’s first Bible

What I like about A Child’s First Bible is that it comes with questions for your toddler to answer. This way you can make sure that your child is understanding what you are reading. So this is a great way to start reading comprehension!

Best Bibles for Preschoolers

The Pray & Play Bible is perfect for preschoolers, it has tons of activities that will help your child remember the Bible story. It has nice large pictures, and easy to remember songs!

Frolic Preschool Bible

The Frolic Preschool Bible has 20 stories from the Old Testament and 20 Stories from the New Testament. The pictures are super cute and it will definitely become one of your child’s favorite books.

Best Bibles for Elementary School Age Children

The Beginner’s Bible

I have read this Bible to my boys for many years. The Beginner’s Bible it‘s so easy to read, very engaging, the stories are very accurate, and the pictures are cute. This one is my favorite children’s Bible.

The Complete Illustrated Children’s Bible

The Complete Illustraded Children’s Bible i beautiful, the stories are short and easy to understand. A lower elementary kid may have a hard time with some of the words if they are trying to read it by themselves.

Also, several people think that this Bible lacks substance to the stories, but I believe reading the Bible is something that we are supposed to do with our kids. You are there to give more information and bring The Word of God alive to them.

Little Kids Adventure Bible

This Bible was hard for me to find, every time I tried to buy it at Amazon or Walmart they were always out of stock. My kids really enjoyed this Bible, it has little snippets here and there to help them understand the people and the times.

The Little Kids Adventure Bible doesn’t have a lot of pictures like the other 2, and it has longer stories, it is better for 3rd graders and up. It is based on the NIV translation. I highly recommended it.

Best Bibles for 10-13 year old

NJKV, Adventure Bible

This is the Bible that my boys have right now. It makes them feel older because they have a “grown up Bible” now. ๐Ÿ˜„

The Adventure Bible is a full size Bible, it has colorful pages, illustrations and features like: words of treasure, did you know?, life in Bible times and more. This Bible is fun to read and easy to understand.

Kid’s Visual Bible

The Kid’s Visual Bible is perfect for a family Bible study. It has over 700 illustrations, photos, maps, infographics and more. Also, it has breakdown information on the side to help you understand and bring the story to life.

The Action Bible

The Action Bible is what I’m going to get my boys for their summer reading challenge.

This Bible is in chronological order so it’s easy to follow. The great details and illustrations will have your kids coming back for more. I believe this is a fun way to keep the kids studying The Word of God.

Finally

I know it’s hard sometimes to find time to study and teach The Word of God to your kids. But we have to make it a priority.

The best time to do it is when you put your kids to bed. Set aside 15 minutes each night to read the Bible and to answer questions that they have.

Fifteen minutes can make a huge difference in your kids future.

Make sure you read The most important biblical truths you must teach your kids and grab the free printable.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

I had no idea that there are bibles for kids. Well, it probably has a lot to do with the fact that I don’t have kids yet. But this is such a great list. Thank you for sharing it. Saving it for later, when I have kids

These are great suggestions! I have always loved the Adventure Bible. I bought my granddaughter a little one a day scripture book with stickers to add each day. Now, whenever she visits she asks if we can read her scripture. I can’t wait to pick out a little preschool bible for her.
